International Probate Research – Where There’s A Will…
Probate refers to the certificate that states the Will of a certain person has been proved and registered in the court and that administration of his or her effects has been granted to a specified executor. Sometimes individuals named in a Will – whether next-of-kin or others – are not known to the executor, or their exact whereabouts are uncertain. We are often called upon to locate missing or unknown beneficiaries, and over the years we have gained considerable experience in this area. Such cases can include everything from locating a beneficiary who is named in a Will, but whose address has changed, to the resolution of a complex testacy that crosses many international borders. |
