We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients’ personal information. This privacy policy has been prepared to inform you why we ask you for your personal information, how we use your personal information in establishing and maintaining a relationship with you, how we protect your personal information and how you can inquire about the personal information we hold about you.

 

Employee Responsibilities

Each of our employees is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all personal information to which they have access. Access to personal information is restricted to those employees who require it in order to provide services to you. We keep our employees informed about our policies and procedures for protecting personal information and reinforce the importance of complying with them.  Mondex has designated Lili Dicker as the individual who is accountable for its compliance with this privacy policy. Any questions, requests or complaints should be directed to this individual at the address shown below.

 

What is Personal Information ?

The term “personal information” refers to information that specifically identifies you as an individual. It includes information that you provide or that we collect from other sources with your permission. Examples of personal information include your name, address, age, gender and marital and family status.

 

Why we ask for personal information

We want to work with you to help you secure your inheritance. In order to do this, we require detailed information from you. The more information we are able to obtain from you and from research we conduct, the better able we are to serve you. We therefore ask you for your personal information for the following purposes (i) to verify your identity and protect against fraud or false claims of heirship; (ii) to determine and prove legal entitlement of our clients; (iii) to comply with laws.  In general, you can choose not to provide us with some or all of your personal information. However, please understand that, if you make this choice, we may not be able to provide you with the best possible service and may not be able to prove your entitlement.

 

Obtaining, Verifying and Accessing your Personal Information

We obtain personal information about you primarily from you. We may also obtain information from other sources with your consent.

 

Keeping your Personal Information Accurate

We are committed to maintaining the accuracy of your personal information for as long as it is being used for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. Prompt notification of any changes, such as your address or telephone number, will help us provide you with the best possible service. Should you discover, upon review of your personal information that changes or corrections are required, please advise us.

 

Releasing your Personal Information

Mondex does not sell your personal information to third parties. Mondex Corporation discloses your information to third parties only for the following purposes: (i) in connection with normal business operations to open, maintain, administer or service your account (including services rendered by third party agents or affiliates), and for audit purposes; and (ii) where we are required to do so by law, including to any law enforcement agency or government authority.

In circumstances where we use third parties to provide services to you, such as legal or accounting services, the required third party service providers are given only the information they need to perform the necessary services. The third parties that we retain for such services are bound by contracts with us to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information and protect the information to the same extent that we do.

 

Keeping your Personal Information Confidential

Personal Information is protected at Mondex against lost, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying use or modification, by safeguards that are reasonable to the sensitivity of that information. Our safeguards include physical protection such as locked cabinets and restricted access to our premises and technological safeguards such as passwords and encryption.

Retention of your Personal InformationWe only keep your personal information for as long as we need it in order to meet the purposes set out in this privacy policy and to provide services to you.  We have strict procedures in place for destroying, deleting or disposing of personal information when it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected from you or with your consent.
