After completing a bachelor’s degree in art history and social sciences with distinction at the Université de Fribourg, Universität Bern and Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Laura Assmus completed her master’s degree in sociology, specialising in cultural studies, at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In her M.A. thesis, she conducted a critical discourse analysis regarding restitution in the context of the newly opened Humboldt Forum in Berlin.
She gained experience in auction houses and museums in Switzerland and Germany as well as in cultural management and archival work.
Laura joined Mondex in 2023 and is based in Munich.
